As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp across the Barrington Coast, there’s one thing we all start looking forward to… 🔥 fire pit season at Tiona Holiday Park.
And the wait is almost over.
From April 3 through to September 30, 2026 (unless otherwise directed by the Rural Fire Service), our much-loved fire braziers return — bringing with them toasted marshmallows, star-filled skies and those simple camping moments that become lifelong memories.

There’s something special about gathering around a glowing fire as the sun sets over Wallis Lake. The kids toast marshmallows (and inevitably burn the first one), someone tells a story, someone else tops up the hot chocolate… and suddenly you realise you haven’t checked your phone in hours.
This is camping as it should be.
Wrapped in blankets.
Under the stars.
Surrounded by the people who matter most.
June Long Weekend Magic
The June Long Weekend is one of our favourite times of the year at Tiona. The summer crowds have eased, the mornings are misty over the lake, and the evenings are made for firelight.
Spend your days:

Paddleboarding across calm waters

Exploring the walking trails of Booti Booti National Park

Swimming (if you’re brave!)

Fishing at sunrise
Then return to your site or cabin, light the brazier and settle in for a slow winter’s evening.
